Monarch Blasts Obasanjo, Warn Him to Stop Inciting Nigerians Against President Jonathan

Do you recall Olusegun Obasanjo’s recent diatribe against President Goodluck Jonathan where he said that Jonathan has performed below expectation?

The former President, Obasanjo has been warned to desist from turning Nigerians against the administration of the President.

Rommel Emenike, a very influential monarch in Rivers State, urged the former President to watch his utterances as such inflammatory statements could aggravate the already sensitive security situation in the country.

Read what Emenike told Obasanjo:

“Obasanjo is a case of kettle calling the pot black. Obasanjo was president for eight years and he made himself the substantive Minister of Petroleum for that period, our economy did not get any better. What is his justification of coming out to call Jonathan a corrupt leader!

“Obasanjo pretended to fight corruption when he was in power but was selective in doing so. How many politicians did he send to jail on the case of corruption? Several governors under his watch were accused of corruption by the EFCC, what happened to those governors?” he queried.

“He cannot be everywhere at the same time fighting to stop the activities of corrupt people.”
