UNCOVERED! Ailing Taraba State Governor admits he is unfit to return to office, says he is addicted to alcohol

 

The cat has been let out of the bag in Taraba State.

Reports by PM News says the ailing governor of the state, Danbaba Suntai has allegedly admitted he is sick and not fit to govern the state.

The governor is said to have revealed this in a secret recording by a National Television.

He said:

The number of Boko Haram members killed after a fierce battle last Monday could not be ascertained but reports on Daily Trust suggests that the insurgents suffered many casualties.

ADAMAWA: Bala has been Sworn-In. Read The Complete Court Order Removing Fintiri As Governor Of Adamawa State

 

The Deputy Governor to the impeached governor Nyako of Adamawa State, Barr Bala Ngilari has been sworn in.

Ngilari whose alleged resignation during the impeachment saga prompted the swearing in of the then Speaker, Fintiri got a favourable court judgment today describing the purported  resignation as NULL and VOID.

Below is the Certified True Copy of the Court Order of Justice Ademola of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja wherein the Court removed the Acting Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and ordered the immediate swearing-in of Barrister Bala Nggilari as the substantive Governor of Adamawa State.

Governor Obiano’s Operation Kpochapu knocks down two more kidnappers’ houses

 

The governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano has re-enforced his determination to rid the State of all forms of criminal elements as security operatives of Operation Kpochapu scaled up the demolition of criminal infrastructure with the knocking down of two buildings used for kidnap activities. The buildings located at Umuchem, Ojoto in Idemili South Local Government Area and Iyaba in Umudim - Nnewi in Nnewi North Local Government Area of the State were knocked down on Wednesday.

This is very sad…

When I heard of the crisis, from cyber squatters to possible shut down by Google, I thought it to be a joke.

Now the reality has dawned on me and other bloggers inspired by Linda Ikeji.

I started playing around the internet earlier than Linda but her useful application of cyber time and success in blogging really redirected by use of the world net.

 

Bringing her down is like cutting the source of inspiration for a whole lot who look at her achievements and pray God to guide their blogging activities.

Whatever that may have caused the shutdown of Africa’s number one blog and world’s number 10, cannot be a sleep over for any serious blogger.

As I feel the pain and anger this action has brought to me, Linda Ikeji and all LIBers, I am consoled by her determination to bounce back.

Breaking: Abuja Court Stops Adamawa Election, orders Acting Governor Out and directs Nyako's Deputy to be sworn in as the New Governor

 

Justice Ademola Adeniyi of Federal High Court, Abuja, has ordered that the former deputy governor of Adamawa state, Mr. Bala Ngilari, should be sworn in as the substantive governor of the state.

The substantive speaker of the House of Assembly, Alhaji Umar Fintiri, is also mandated to vacate office as the acting governor of the state.

He ruled that the alleged resignation of Ngilari on July 14, 2014 was invalid, null and void as it breached the provisions of sections 306(1), (2) and (5) of the 1999 Constitution because it was addressed to the Speaker and acted upon by the House of Assembly.

Ex Big Brother Africa star, Beverly Osu, has bid farewell to her late dad.

The Big Brother Africa ‘The Chase’ star and model who lost her dad in September has laid his remains to rest in the traditional way with her other siblings.

The model took to her Twitter account to announce the departure of her father earlier in September also making it known when he would be buried.

The funeral took place at their hometown in Agbor, Delta State.

Beverly’s co-housemate Bimp was also at the burial to show love and support to her mate who might be needing that right now.

Taraba Governor declared MISSING by the Acting Governor

 

Taraba - Home fo Political Drama.

The acting governor of Taraba State, Alhaji Garba Umar, has declared that his boss, Governor Danbaba Suntai, has gone missing, the Vanguard reports.

Governor Umar stated in an interview on Monday, that he had not set his eyes on Governor Suntai ever since he came back from the UK some weeks ago.

He narrated how he tried to connect with his boss as soon as he got back but all efforts to meet with him were abortive.

Gov Willie Obiano led Ndi Anambra to pay Tribute to the renowned Bishop whose Education Foundation trains the poorest and brightest in the society.

Obiano reiterated that beyond the church, Ndi Anambra mourns the great loss. 

"The late Bishop Okafor occupies a special place in our hearts for good reasons... he was practical, humane and friendly", he said.

The National Chairman, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Umeh, has described the second Republic as Ndigbo’s most glorious era.

This, Umeh said, was because through the accord reached by the Nigerian Peoples Party (NPP) and National Party of Nigeria (NPN) Ndigbo were able to produce a number of people in the federal cabinet as well as produced the Speaker, House of Representatives.

Our soldiers backed from the air by Nigerian Airforce attack helicopters launched an attack to retake territories in the possession of Boko Haram.

In the ensuing battle that continued into the night, Vanguard gathered that about 400 Boko Haram terrorist had been killed while there were casualties on the part of the Nigerian soldiers.

President Goodluck Jonathan is scheduled for a one-day official visit to Niamey, capital of Niger Republic, today to participate in an extraordinary summit of Heads of State and Government of the Lake Chad Basin Commission, to review ongoing collaboration against terrorism, Daily Independent reports

He is thus expected to meet with leaders of neighbouring Niger, Chad, Cameroon and Benin Republic, with whom he is expected to agree on further joint action to curb terrorism and insurgency within and across their national boundaries.

The Nigeria Police operating under the code name "Operation Kpochapu" have arrested some suspected fake number plates manufacturers specialised in car robbery in Anambra State.

The suspected criminals were among the over 40 suspects, both men and women, paraded on Monday in Awka by the Anambra State Police Command.

Enugu State police command has arrested a middle-aged man for allegedly stabbing his mother to death.

The incident took place while the woman was sleeping in the early hours of last Thursday at Ubiekpo Abor in Udi local government area of Enugu State.

Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, however, in a statement issued yesterday, alluded to the fact that the man might be mentally deranged and that he had since been arrested.

Moved by the helplessness of Liberians stricken by the Ebola virus, Senior Pastor of the Day Star Christian Church of Nigeria, Sam Adeyemi, has launched a passionate appeal to its members and well-wishers to pool more than $1 million (one million dollars) towards ameliorating the epidemic in Liberia.

The pastor, who made this known during the Sunday service of the church at Oregun, Ikeja, has made a personal pledge of not less than N1m (one million naira) to the fund, which he hopes would be delivered through a credible organisation like the United Nations or any other body that will ensure effective usage.

Lawyer asks court to stop Adamawa Election. Why?

 

A Lagos-based lawyer, Olukoya Ogungbeje, has filed a motion asking a Federal High Court in Lagos to restrain the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from conducting the October 11 governorship by-election in Adamawa State.

The lawyer wants the court to stop the conduct of the election pending the hearing and determination of a suit which he filed to challenge the propriety of the impeachment of former Governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako.
