Police raided her home San Bernardo, in the southern Chilean province of Maipo, and found the ‘tree’ surrounded by wrapped-up presents.

A police spokesman said:

APGA Set to Take-Over Onitsha South as Patrick Aniunoh Receives Certificate of Return

The caliber of men being presented by All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA tells a lot about the party's determination to retain control of Anambra State.

The picture above shows the APGA candidate for Onitsha South I Constituency, Mr Patrick Aniunoh posing with his ward leaders at the party's state secretariat, Awka shortly after he received his Certificate of Return.

Mr Patrick is a strong grassroots mobilizer well-known within his constituency as the "humble politician".

I'm so impressed, with Mr Patrick in Onitsha South I and Hon Ifeanyi Beverly Nkendiche in Onitsha South II, APGA is set to clinch the two House of Assembly seats in Onitsha South Local Government.

The governor of the State who doubles as the Board of Trustees Chairman of APGA has repeatedly declared that his party is ready to take full control of the state and also capture more South East States by 2015.

Have a close look at the COR below...

Court Finds Obasanjo Guilty of ...

 Olusugun-Obasanjo-My-Watch
A Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Wuse Zone 2, Abuja, has found former President Olusegun Obasanjo guilty of contempt.

The Nation reports that Justice Valentine Ashi, in a ruling on Wednesday held that Obasanjo was in contempt of court for flouting orders restraining him from among others, publishing his autobiography – “My Watch.”

Justice Ashi, in a ruling gave the former President 21 days (from the day of service of the court’s orders on him) to explain why he should not be punished for contempt for going ahead to publish the book despite the ex-parte interim order made by the court on December 5 and a pending libel suit involving him (Obasanjo).

Ashi restrained him from further publishing, printing or offering for sale, the book, which content touches on the subject matter before the court.

Obiano Reveals Humane Side; Rescues Accident Victim in Upper Iweka

The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano showed a yet to be known humane side on Wednesday afternoon when he ordered his convoy to an abrupt stop to rescue a man lying on the roadside after being hit by a Mercedes 608 Bus near the premises of 302 Artillary Division of
the Nigerian Army in Onitsha.

The victim, a young man in his 30s lay by the roadside bleeding with a broken head with no one to attend to him until the governor’s convoy pulled over. Governor Obiano immediately jumped out of his car and walked towards the victim to effect the recue, ordering his men to lend a hand.

The incident also justified Governor Obiano’s decision to have an ambulance as part of his convoy as he quickly ordered the driver of the ambulance to convey the victim to hospital with immediate effect.

The crowd watched in utter surprise as the governor took charge of the situation, moving close to the ambulance to assure the victim not to worry as he was in safe hands.

Since the governor ordered that an ambulance be installed as part of his convoy, many people had wondered why Governor Obiano had made such a directive. But the accident in Onitsha has shown once again that Governor Obiano is a man clearly ahead of his time.

Obiano wins again as Fed. High Court dismisses resurrected double registration suit

The Federal High Court sitting in Awka, Anambra State capital Wednesday December 10, 2014 dismissed a suit on alleged double or multiple registration resurrected by an Onitsha based human rights lawyer, Jezie Ekejiuba,  seeking the disqualification of Chief Willie Obiano as the All Progressives Congress (APGA) candidate and nullification of the November 2013 governorship election that gave him victory  over alleged discrepancies in his voting documents during the November 2013 election.

In the suit No.FHC/AWK/CS/269/2013, brought against Chief Obiano, Anambra State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Prof. Chukwuemeka Onukogu, and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the plaintiff claimed the first defendant (Obiano) allegedly submitted fake voter’s card in his INEC Form CF001 sworn affidavit contrary to Section 31 (1) to (6) of the Amended Electoral Act, 2010.

The governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano yesterday inspected construction works at the Agulu Lake Hotels as well as the completed Agulu twin bridges.

For keen observers Obiano’s approach to governance has proven to be the best formular for CONTINUITY. Doubters have distrusted, fifth columnists have written and critics have doubted the possibility of completing the contracts awarded by the past administration in addition to the laudable projects being commenced by governor Obiano.

Speaking while inspecting the quality of work at the Agulu Lake twin bridges, Gov Obiano reiterated his resolve to continue, complete and commission all the projects started by his predecessor. He promised to commission the already completed bridges once the street lights currently being fixed are done with.

The governor also expressed satisfaction with the level of work at the Agulu Lake Hotels which he inherited almost at groundwork stage. Obiano while commending the contractors for making good use of his supports, said his administration is determined to deliver legacy projects for the interest of Ndi Anambra.

PRESS STATEMENT: Uzochukwu Ezenwanne does not Speak for Governor Obiano

Our attention has been drawn to a Facebook comment, purportedly authored by a certain Uzochukwu Ezenwanne, castigating President Goodluck Jonathan for failing the South East Region.

Following this ill-conceived comment, some mischievous online publications and social media commentators have made several malicious efforts to link Mr. Ezenwanne to the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano. In pursuit of an inglorious agenda, this segment of the social media have spuriously identified him as a Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Obiano and proceeded to attribute Ezenwanne’s tragic comments to him.

We wish to inform the general public that Uzochukwu Ezenwanne is neither an employee of the Anambra State government nor an aide in whatever capacity, to Governor Willie Obiano. Mr. Ezenwanne is not in any way connected to Governor Obiano or any of his close aides.
