Evil: Son murders father over Indian hemp

There are reports that the people of Aguabosi villige in Ugwoba, Oji-River L.G.A, are bereaved, following the murder of a member of the community, Christopher Onu by his son.

The irate son, Ikenna Onu allegedly murdered his father for advising him to stop smoking Indian Hemp.

The police spokesman in Enugu State, Ebere Amaraizu, DSP, who confirmed the incident to said 

“Ikenna picked up an axe and cut open his father’s head, he slumped and died. 

“On that fateful day, the deceased, having returned from work in his farm, called on his son Ikenna Onu and was advising him to desist from smoking weeds suspected to be Indian Hemp so as not to endanger his life. 

“As the advice was going on, the suspect got up and picked an axe and cut open the father’s head”.

He added that “investigations have commenced into the incident as the body of the deceased has been deposited at General Hospital Mortuary, Oji River for autopsy.
