Benue teachers call off strike after 8 months, get jumbo pay

The Benue State teachers are set to call off their 8 month old strike following the release of N7.3 billion for the payment of their salaries.

Reliable sources disclose that teachers will be paid their November and December salaries based on their previous salary scale.

The new minimum wage will be used in paying up the salary areas from January, 2014.
