In line
with the Greek proverb, "Society grows great when old men plant trees
whose shade they know they will never sit in" our amiable First Lady
flagged off a program that is meant to safeguard and secure the lives of the
infants and their mothers.
Chief (Mrs)
Obiano while officially flagging-off the 2014 Maternal and Child Health Week at
Oyi Local Government Headquarters, Nteje, reiterated how dear issues of
healthcare is to her heart especially that of the children and their mothers.

health sector to take the issues of maternal and child health seriously, she pointed
out that her pet project is chiefly concerned with that.
Chief Dubem
Obaze who accompanied Mama Anambra to the occasion described the visions of the
First lady for the safety and health of our infants as legendary and assured
that more will be done in that sector to complement the state governments
efforts God if elected to the red chambers come 2015.
Also speaking,
Hon. Ejiofor Egwuatu expressed satisfaction with the pet projects of the First
Lady and the continued support of Chief Dubem Obaze for the policies and
visions of the Willie Obiano administration. According to Hon. Egwuatu “it’s a
clear sign of how collaborative and supportive Chief Dubem will be to the
present administration if elected a senator by February 2015”.
