Bridge collapses in Abia State with a tipper on it

Reports online show that the popular Igwu bridge linking Ndi Ebe Abam to other towns in Abia State has collapsed.

The collapse occurred when a 25 tons tipper carrying gravel plied on it.

Though no life was lost but the villagers are now cut off from other towns as the bridge was the only motor-able route in and out of the village.

The community dwellers have sent SOS to all concerned for immediate assistance.

I now think of the second Niger Bridge!
