Blessing Okagbare becomes world's 2nd fastest woman of all time

Nigeria’s Sprinter Blessing Okagbare has become the first Nigerian winner of women’s 100m since Mary Onyali back in 1994.

Blessing Okagbare, last night, won Gold in the Women's 100m for Nigeria in the Commonwealth Games.

She won in a time of 10.85 seconds in a new Games record, making her the second fastest woman of all time in World 100 metres.

She beat Jamaica’s Veronica Campbell-Brown, Kerron Stewart and England’s Asha Phillip who came second, third and fourth respectively.

Blessing was inspired by Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan who became over joyed while watching from the stands.

Go Blessing.... Go Team Nigeria!
