The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All
Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has appointed the Anambra State governor,
Chief Willie Obiano, as the leader and chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT)
of the party to replace Peter Obi, who recently ditched the party for the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP.)
Also, pursuant to the mandate given on January 18, 2014 by
the NEC to the National Working Committee (NWC) to fill existing vacancies in
the NWC, the NEC also appointed Mr Alexander Amujiogu as the acting deputy
national secretary of the party.
In a press statement signed by APGA national chairman, Chief
Victor Umeh, the party also approved the guidelines for the conduct of its
primaries to select candidates for the forthcoming elections.
According to the schedule of activities earlier released and signed
by the National Secretary, Dr Abdulahi Sani Shinkafi, the purchase and return
of the expression of interest and nomination forms ended on Tuesday, November

CONGRATULATIONS TO GOV OBIANO for his nomination into the LEADERSHIP OF APGA and CHAIRMANSHIP of THE PARTY BOT.
As we all know that i am a man who love to point to land mines on time ,not the one that will shout i saw it LATER ...
This greek gift has some merits and demerits ,but let me just talk on the demerit for now.
This position was offered to PETER OBI and same man that offered it later used it against him when he gave interview on SUN NEWSPAPER and said that the position is yet to be ratified by CONVENTION ,which means the position is mere ceremonial only.
So by giving Gov Obiano this position ,he must cough out the demanded 500 MILLION NAIRA which is the Price Tag Umeh placed on that position which he hide under ANAMBRA APGA CONVENTION ,sorry i mean national convention ,even though Apga is only operational in ANAMBRA STATE .
Now back to the land mine ,APGA under the leadership of MAXI OKWU gave the leadership to BIANCA OJUKWU .As it is that has not been addressed or abolished and offering same position to OBIANO without reconciliation of APGA and her factions is not friendly at all.It will pitch OBIANO against BIANCA even if it is cold war,but mind is a fragile thing that must be closely pacified.
Gov Obiano has secured SUPREME COURT judgement and now he has the moral fibre to dare any TOMB RAIDER with Red long Cap or face cap ,if i am to say ,i will advise him to call all the factions of APGA and make grand peace with them before he can accept any greek TROJAN HORSE .
As for the communique written in ABUJA ,it makes me shudder that it was signed by Umeh ,where is the secretary which is SHINKAFI ?,who we learn walked away from the NWC because of Umeh,s high handedness and other gross abuse of power.
Where is the PRO whose duties include issuing communique for the party ?
Why is it only Umeh that signed the communique ,he issued it and signed it and having it in mind that the NWC meeting did not hold ,so he improvised.
One would,ve thought that Umeh would,ve resigned his chairmanship position as he has taking SINATORIAL ticket ,but that was not dealt with and which shows that another round of CON is in the making.
A LOOK AT APGA COMMUNIQUE
kindly see the communique issued by UMEH,the Questions are
[1] Communique cannot be signed by the Chairman but the SECRETARY OR PRO ,but who signed this very one ?
[2] How come because the Secretary said HELL NO to Automatic ticket granted to Umeh and his highhandedness ,SHINKAFI said he is not part of the charade ,then Umeh single handedly appoint a secretary to replace SHINKAFI ?
[3]How many people were in that Charade ?
[4] How many people were members of the NWC on Umeh,s APGA ?
[5] How long will it take before UMEH will tell Gov Obiano to give him 700,000,00 NAIRA to hold convention to ractify his appointment as BOT CHAIRMAN ?
[6]How come it is only Umeh that passed the resolution to make Gov OBIANO
[A]GOVERNOR OF THE STATE
[B] BOT CHAIRMAN OF APGA
[C] LEADER OF APGA ?
Is it because he wants him to sponsor in full his Sinatorial ambition ?
We are watching and counting..
