Chief Dubem Obaze was hosted in the seven local government
areas that make up Anambra North Senatorial Zone.
It was an event attended strictly by local government
executives of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.
Recall that Chief Dubem Obaze recently picked APGA Nomination
Form in response to his people’s pressure and request that he should contest to
represent Anambra North in the Senate House come 2015.
The outcome of the well-organized tour could be mistaken by
onlookers as the official visit of a messiah or saviour of the people because
the turnout of APGA faithful was enormous as may not have been seen in recent
times.
As Dubem moved from one local government to the other, one
could vividly see a man loved by his people, a man for all and with all (Mmiri
enwe ilo), a man in whom the old and young of Anambra North are well pleased.
Chief Dubem with his usual calmness and sense of purpose
interacted with everyone and provided answers to their questions.
"I am a fulfilled man today, I don't want more than I
already have. I came from a humble background, I grew up in number 7 father
Joseph street Onitsha, and I'm so glad to have had all that I have had in life
today, the only option I have now is to serve and improve lives" is one of
his many usual quotes which touched the heart of many in the course of the
tour.
His wide acceptance gave birth to the following catchphrases:
Dubem Obaze- Right of the common
man
Dubem Obaze- Beacon of hope
Dubem Obaze- Voice for the youths
Dubem Obaze- Voice for the women
Dubem Obaze- Voice for Anambra North 2015
