26-yr old Man rapes a girl of 3 in Bauchi

 

According reports on the Daily Independent, the Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a middle aged man for allegedly raping a three-year-old girl and damaging her private part.

It was gathered that the 26-year-old suspect, Mohammadu Bello, hails from Rigar Garba village in Darazo local government area of Bauchi State.

It was further learnt that Bello allegedly tricked the little girl into his room and had illegal canal knowledge of her.

The victim who resides in Unguwar Yamma in Darozo local government was raped by the suspect, a situation that made her to bleed from the private part.

Bello, who tried to escape following scream from the little girl was pursued by members of the public and arrested.

When contacted, Police Public Relations Officer of Bauchi State command, Haruna Mohammed confirmed the arrest of the suspect, saying it is under Investigation.

He said the victim has been rushed to the General hospital Darazo and is presently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit.

“The suspect was arrested by residents in the area and subsequently arrested by the police in connection with the rape of a three-year-old girl who had some wounds in her private part.  The case is currently under investigation and the suspect is presently being detained at command’s headquarters”.
