More compliments for Sir Umeh as Deputy Speaker, Dubem Obaze, other stakeholders praise his National Honour

 
The National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief (Sir) Victor Umeh has received more compliments from the political heavy-weights in Anambra State for his recent honour by the President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan.

Sir Umeh was recently decorated by President Jonathan as an Officer of Federal Republic (OFR) of Nigeria.

According to the Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Engr Prince Chukwudi Orizu, “Ohamadike’s award is very special being that he is a national chairman of an opposition party and therefore must have proven himself beyond reasonable doubt to qualify for the revered honour.

“His doggedness does not end in our party affairs, he has severally spoken out for Ndi Igbo and the Nigerian populace… He is a Man of the People”

In celebration with Umeh, Chief Dubem Obaze said all APGA faithful are rejoicing with the indomitable National Party Chairman because his victory is victory for all.

Dubem, a former Commissioner in Anambra State said, “The award is not only to the person of Chief Victor Umeh, but to APGA as a family. It is well deserved!

Like Americans will say… ‘Ohamadike earned it the old fashioned way’ by working” Chief Obaze (Ife aka Chi of Anambra North) added.

Also eulogizing Chief Umeh, a renowned Architect, Chinelo Ofoche who is aspiring to represent Oyi and Ayamelum in the Federal House of Representatives believes that Chief Umeh’s honour is a pay-off of his unending hard-work.

In a very jubilant humor, she added. “it‘s a well-deserved award for a well-rounded Chairman”.

In the same vain, a past Chairman of Dunukofia Local Government, Chief Onochie Okagbue explained that Sir Victor Umeh has contributed immensely to the growth of democracy in Nigeria.

Hon Onochie who is in the race to represent the good people of old Njikoka (Anaocha, Njikoka and Dunukofia) Federal Constituency come 2015 echoed that Umeh’ award is well deserved.

“A well-deserved honour, having played active part on the development of democracy in Nigeria. He can’t be wished away”.

Speaking to Journalists at Onitsha, Hon Anthonia Tabansi-Okoye applauded the recognition by President Jonathan saying, “It as an honour well deserved. Ohamadike is a dogged fighter and the nation needs generals like him.

“He is our hero. Mr President did the right thing and I give him kudos”.

APGA faithful were seen at various leaisure-joints celebrating yet another positive height for their party.


Chief Umeh’s national honour came just few days after Chief Obiano’s victory at the surpreme Court.
