2015: Enugu Stands still as Over 150 Groups Declare Support for Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi

Ahead of the 2015 Elections, the ‘Prayer/Thank You’ rally organised by Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi Campaign Organisation in Enugu at the weekend attracted over 150 Support Groups.

Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who is a member of the House of Representatives, won the governorship primaries conducted in Enugu State on December 8, by the Electoral Panel from the National Secretariat of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Addressing the mammoth crowd at his rally on Friday, Governor Sullivan Chime told members of the 150 support groups and other eligible voters in the state to go to various offices of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in their council areas and collect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) to enable them exercise their civic responsibility in the February election.

Chime, who was represented by his Deputy, Ralph Nwoye, said the only way to avoid “faith without good work” and actualize the support for Ugwuanyi’s emergence as the next governor, is for the people to vote massively for him and the PDP in the forthcoming election.
