Protest in Kano as Sanusi is announced as the new Emir

 Reports indicate that the people of Kano have taken to the streets to protest against the announcement of the former CBN governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the new Emir.

According to the tweets of Jamil Abubakar, Son of Inspector General of Police:

“Kano people are not happy with the announcement so they are

causing troubles in the town..”

He later added...

“Heard the initial riot was not as serious as speculated ooo. Chai Nigeria our country shall remain one amen.”
