Emir of Gombe dies at 76

 Alhaji (Dr.) Usman Shehu Abubakar, has passed on at 76. Till his death, he was the Emir of Gombe since 1984 and the chairman of the Gombe State Council of Traditional Rulers.
The Late Emir passed on at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Fulham Road, London on May 27th after a long battle with cancer.

His death demise was confirmed in a press statement by the Secretary to the Gombe State Government, Abubakar Bage. Family sources say his body will be flown back to Nigeria today, May 28th to be buried according to Islamic rights.
