Pope's refusal to ride in a bulletproof... Could it be a lesson for Nigerian church leaders and followers?

The refusal of Pope Francis to ride in a sardine can specially designed to provide a bulletproof cover, sits deep in my heart as a great example of what Christ represents "love".

He understands the reason for the Popemobile and knows about the possible dangers but chooses his "love for the people" over his personal security.

Happy Father's Day! Top Quotes.

Wow... It's Father's Day!

"I have a dad... A good, great and God-given mentor! A soul I so much cherish to have met. My dad is my guy, my man and my father!
Happy Father's Day to you dad, Lawrence N. Aniagoh

"What Is A Dad?

A dad is someone who
wants to catch you before you fall
but instead picks you up,
brushes you off,
and lets you try again.

A dad is someone who
wants to keep you from making mistakes
but instead lets you find your own way,
even though his heart breaks in silence
when you get hurt.

A dad is someone who
holds you when you cry,
scolds you when you break the rules,
shines with pride when you succeed,
and has faith in you even when you fail..."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DAD,
When i was born,
You were there to catch me when i fall, whenever and wherever.
When i said my first words,
You were there for me,
to teach me the whole dictionary if need be.
When i took my first steps,
You were there to encourage me on.
When i had my first day at school,
you were there to give me advice and help me with my homework.
I still havent finished school,
or walked down the aisle, or had my first child.
But i know you will be there for me through all these times and more, the good and bad.
So i just wrote this to say 'I LOVE YOU DAD!!!'

Write yours for your Dad!

Tinubu, Buhari and 13 APC Governors betrayed me - Rotimi Amaechi

Still on the fall-outs from the just concluded APC National Convention, the embattled governor of Rivers State says he feels betrayed.

Hear him:
"Let it be known, that I didn't just join the APC, I was wooed by the legacy parties and four other PDP governors then. Naturally in every bargain, interests must be spelt out.
Of course they did promise me the Vice Presidential ticket in the forth coming election with a condition to sell the party and make President Jonathan unpopular. The initial arrangement was to pair me with Hon. Tambuwal (Speaker of House of Representatives) . But when other entrants like Atiku and others entered the party, everything changed. It was Gov. Nyako that opened up to me on the recent changes, and pleaded with me to take the position of the National chairman of party, that it will be zoned to the South-South.

In a recent interview, Nollywood actress, Chulwuka Favour aid she can go nude but only if the right price is matched.

When asked about What Role Can You Not Play In A Movie? She replied:

"I cannot go nude for nothing. If I’m to play nude I have to consider how much it is worth.
